Introduction

SUNNYSIDE is a registered Boarding Kennel, established in 1983 and operated to British Standards for dog care, hygiene and accommodation requirements. Here at SUNNYSIDE it is our main objective to provide for our four legged guests a safe and secure environment with a high degree of emphasis put on loving care, contact, happiness, protection and contentment for all who board here.

For whatever reason your trusting pet has a visit to SUNNYSIDE, you, the owner must feel and require every possible care and attention is given to your pet for the time they are here and away from their family and security of their home. Your dogs wellbeing and your peace of mind during your pets stay here is our prime concern.

SUNNYSIDE is situated in a beautiful country environment, in North Sjælland close to the fishing town of Gilleleje. Here, all guests have their own kennel with outside, covered runs, two meals a day, from a program of a top quality dog food, to suit all tastes and requirements. Guests can provide their own food if required with agreement with the SUNNYSIDE management.

Each guest has a minimum of two walks a day in two large secure exercise fields, where they can run free or have the guidance of a flexi lead under the control of a competent dog walker. Where possible and at the discretion of SUNNYSIDE, compatible dogs can go in two's on their walks for more active play and companionship. During walks, all dogs are supervised and never left alone in the exercise fields.

It is part of the SUNNYSIDE programme for all dogs in our care to have as much fun contact with the staff as possible; this also allows observation of the guests and can provide quick action should any feel unwell and for this situation we have 24hour Veterinary cover.

At the discretion of SUNNYSIDE an extra service can be offered for any continuation of medical treatments and medications during your dogs stay. Requirements relating to this service should be requested, if possible, at the time of booking. A small charge will be incurred for this service.

Most dogs settle quickly into the secure routine of SUNNYSIDE and return home physically tired, psychologically stimulated but the same well-balanced boy/girl as on arrival.

SUNNYSIDE is situated in a beautiful country environment with large natural exercise areas surrounded by secure fencing.

Our guests have their own "room" where they sleep and an individual covered outside area.
